Windows turning on Bill. I laughed when I saw this. This was actually a live feed on the web.

This is really old, I saw that in 2000 I think. But it's still funny to this day.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

That is really old; back when Windows 98 came out, in 98 :p.  But it is still very funny.  Well worth another look.

Who cares if it's old?  It proves how sucky the Windows operating system is.  Love it.

You're saying you've never got a blue screen on your Windows?

I am not huge Windows fan myself, but Windows XP has come a long way, and blue screens are very rare.  That video proves nothing more than that Windows 98 was buggy; something that is already well know.

But, as I stated above, a very funny video.  Bill Gates expression is also priceless.

OK, I can't deny that XP is an awful system, but it certinally doesn't measure up to Mac, and...

Uh-oh, this is turning into the Mac Vs. PC thread.

What about Windows XP is so awfully terrible?  It is by far the most stable Windows release yet and it has many excellent features.  As many here know, my preference is Linux, but not because Windows is "the worst operating system ever created out of the depths of hell," but because I like the ability to highly customize my operating system, and Linux allows this.

Windows is a great operating system in that those who are not technically adept can easily learn how to use it.  It is very simple, and even things like application installation and removal are far better than many Linux alternatives.  I choose Linux, because I am comfortable with it, not because it bests Windows in every feature.

I used to do things purposely to make my comp BSoD when Windows 2000 came out. I'd submit like 50 error messages a day to ::Dolphin Noise:: off Microsoft.

Do you overclock?  Even setting RAM settings differently than spec can cause stability problems.  I have had great luck with XP compared to earlier releases, at home, and at work, where I administer about one-hundred and fifty computers.

With Windows XP, I have been attributing blue screens less to Windows and more to the user.  (This is not an accusation, just a general rule I have found true through work.)

Well of course this is before they were shipping win98 so they must have fixed it, although i highly doubt it
There is no such thing as peace and there never will be. Peace is a delusion believed by the weak. Gandhi said : "An eye of an eye would leave the whole world blind". So be it because only a blind world can experience the peace that it deserves. But there in lay the sick irony. Who will be able to see this peace? The human species is at war. The enemy walks among us nearly invisible. Only those with true discernment can see them. But only one with discernment and vision can show them to others
