Topic: Do celebrites really act like this?!

Theres always some kind of news story about celebrites. There's always something dramatic going on in there lives. But do celebrites really act like this?

Take the whole Jenifer Aniston and Brad Pitt thing. Jennifer breaks up with Ben, Ben finds a new Girlfriend, Jennifer and Ben are rumoured to be back together, Jen gets another boyfriend.

Its like their living in an episode of Friends, for crying out loud!!!!!

So, do you think that this is thier real lives? Does the media make this stuff up and then get celebrites to go along with it? Do the celebrites purposly hurt each other and other people just to get in front of the camera? Or does this actually happen to them?

Something that gets me P.O.'d is when people decide they know the celebrity and make up all sorts of crap about them. For example, someone here said once that Ben Affleck is an alcoholic, and I'd like to know where they got proof of that. I can't prove that he is, nor that he isn', but you shouldn't make stuff up or repeat what tabloids say, because you don't know if it's true.

No, about 75% of all newspaper articles are true. The remaining percentage is all lies or exaggerations of real stories just to get more money.

I think that its pretty dumb that newspapers have to make up stuff about celebrites just to get an interesting story.

I bet that if they interviewed 50 random people off the street, they would find about 20 storys that are more interesting then the stuff they put about celebrites.

2. being famous and rich can be a VERY bad thing sometimes, many celeb's have commited suicide because they never got any privacy.
3. The fact you are rich doesn't mean you will be happy, people will want to take money from you especially through marriage.

You don't understand society that much now, do you?

People who don't have billion of dollars/pounds/yen will want money really badly...they'll try anything to get it...so the poorer people (scammers and the like) will target celebrities to get it.
You need money to buy food and things to survive, if you have no money, you have jack sqwat.
I agree that if I had the chance to get money from a celebrity, I'de take it....cause I'm broke....then again Im still a teen.

That advice isn't actually very helpful...especially since you do not live in the UK.
We PAY loads to go to college, we don't get money for going.
I am not going to college anyway...Im taking A level courses in 6th form.
Getting rich is not as easy as you think it is, you still have no idea how difficult it is to even keep hold of money.
If I had 1 pound for every time I have seen or heard stories about debt and finacial problems in this country, I could retire at the age of 21 and not even start work.

And yes, some celebrities have killed themselves through drugs and acts of suicide inside their own homes because of the pressure's put on them.
There was one celebrity who hung themself, I cannot remember who it was, but there was another celebrity who killed themself through drug-overdose.
