I officially love winamp. I didn't find the milkdrop visual plugin till like 10 mins ago. I daresay it rocks. Beyond all rockage.

Lemme get 2 random screens of it in desktop mode...it can get rid of ur icons in this mode, which i've grown to like..

EDIT: I added a 3rd one that I like alot...it's called dragon's eye i believe...







Also, remember that these visuals are moving at like 60 buhmillion fps if you got a decent vid card (6600GT here).

Windows Media Player's visuals get me angry. They haven't changed ever. EVAR! Like the same ones since Windows 95. And they're all the same quality, which in my world is crappy.

iTunes just explodes my comp. I refuse to install it again.

I dont like WinAmp. Its screwed up an epiosde of the Office tat took me 5 hours to download. It also screwed up and epiosde of the
Simpsons that took 4 but I fixed it:P

That just means you didn't have the right codecs.

Anyway, Winamp is one of the greatest personal computing applications ever created, and I find it far better than any other media player on windows.  Foobar2000 has some cool stuff to play around with, but Winamp is just generally better for casual music listening.

I discovered the joys of hosting Shoutcast streams a few days ago, and now I love Winamp even more.

just looked into shoutcast...looks sweet..i think i like it more too :P

you non-winamp guys really need to look at its visual plugin, milkdrop.
you also need to look at all of it's features and use them all.

Old Sonique used to be great, but then they got rid of almost all of their good old skins on their site...grrr...www.sonique.com...now sonique2 beta (yes its still in beta after 2 years!) still is buggy and bad...

I have proven that using iTunes repetitively will give you bad gas.

It is also so buggy and full of useless code that it is like pouring shampoo in your cd drive. And then eating the cd drive like a sandwich.
