Uninstall iTunes and install Winamp and enable the MilkDrop plugin.

Make sure your firewall isnt blocking iTunes. Reinstall.

winamp has no podcast support

Actually, it's had podcast support since September 30th, 2005.

What exactly that entails I have no idea, cause the whole idea seems silly. Some product will come along and replace the iPod, and all will forget the podcast trend.
