I wanna take a pic of an AVI file, and using the printscreen doesn't work. I know that I had a workaround a long time ago, but does anyone have a solution to this stupiditiy?
I can't find the pic on google either, so I need to get it myself.

VLC Media Player lets you take a screenshot of any video file (including AVI):

for anyone else looking to do this, you have to go into the options (ctrl-s) and turn off "Overlay Video Output". Then use Ctrl-Alt-S to take screenshots.

I use the program "Nero Showtime" which lets you take screenshots.
