Umm... I doubt it.  They may have made a mistake, and meant to put 2003 and it hasn't been updated since.

I think they just put in some random # cause I think Spongebob will be one of those shows like I Love Lucy that will never be off the air.

The new episodes may end in 2010's (11,12,13,14,etc...) episodes will NEVER stop airing. Timeless like Looney Tunes.

Season 8??We're only on season 4 so there are a couple more episodes,hope they don't cancel Spongebob,I'll miss Patrick!!Will it never stop airing because it's the most famous cartoon around??

Seriously tho', eventually the creators are gonna run out of ideas. So the show ending is inevitable, really. :( :( :(

I will NEVER lose interest in SB.  And Nick's biggest show since when won't be coming to an end just after season 5, seeing how long episodes like FOP lasted.  And with their new shows, like My Dad's A Rock Star, Martin Mystery, and that one with the moose all go downhill and only air on Nicktoons regularly, even they aren't so stupid as to cancel a great show like this.
