Well, I see Funeral as a rock opera about kids dealing with the aftermath of someone's death. "Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)" is incredibly heartbreaking because it's about kids who run away from their parents, but once they get older they ask themselves where their parents are now. I love it.

I think the first time I listened to Neighborhood #1, I almost cried. The entire album for me seems very wintery, but that may just be because I got the album on Christmas.

I never thought of it... but you're right. I don't think about Summer too much when I listen to it. Also, Neighborhood 3 is about a power outage in the winter.

Do you have Neon Bible? I bought the deluxe edition, but the only difference between it and the regular version were two flipbooks and a lenticular cover. It was worth though. Oh, how it was worth it.

I havent gotten it yet. Pretty much due to the fact that its not as good as funeral (from what I've heard). It's on my list, though.
