I don't know the last time Nintendo made a real Mario game. Not any of this Mario Sports, or Mario Party crap.

Super Mario Sunshine (Or Thousand Year Door, take your pick) for GameCube

Mario & Luigi 2, Super Mario 64 DS, New Super Mario Bros (DS)

Mario & Luigi (GBA)

Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)

And even the ones that weren't truly Mario games (mario party series, mario RPG, etc) were still exceedingly fun. I still have the scar from Mario Party 1. I mailed in for the glove and never used it :P

And Mario RPG was a GREAT game.

I liked Mario Party One, but Nintendo put out way too many Mario Party games. They milked the Mario Party cow dry to the bone.

The Mario Party games are still fun, the thing is that they are all basically the same thing. The biggest change since the original was the mic.
