Oh yeah. DOOM. I love this game. I downloaded the torrent of DOOM 2 and I was blown away. Even with outdated graphics DOOM 2 proved to be a decent 1st person shooter. I tried DOOM 3 and that was pretty amazing too. This had pretty nice 3D graphics. I got freaked out sometimes considering all of the levels were dark. Anybody ever played this game?

Yes, its a crapppy FPS.

But thats just me.

Doom was good.

However, it IS horribly overrated, because it wasn't amazing.

It was just the first major FPS besides Wolfenstein 3D.

Doom 2 was good.  Doom 3 I didn't like at all because they basically tried to make it a first person survival horror game.

Good times...

I remember my dad had found some floppies that had DOOM II on it, my brother and I played it on his machine, then beat it on my shared computer.  It wasnt till later my dad bought me a computer for $10 at a surplus store, brother and I DM'd each other.

This lead to a major DOOM obsession
