Whats With People and Trillian?

Why doe's everyone seem to hate Trillian?  From what I've seen, its a very good chatting program and one of the best out there.

It's buggy and bloated with too many unneeded features. And paying for the extra unneeded features is ridiculous when you could just use something free, open source, and light-weight (like Pidgin).

If you use Trillian Basic, there are no unnecessary features. It's really fast, simple, and I like it. :)

it's a great prog. There aren't any unnecessary features if you use it as much as I do.

What's unnecessary btw?!

Oh, and go find a skin you like. Their default one sucks. Please find a sweet skin before you say it sucks....

I used to like it, but I got tired of the bugs and instability.  Now I use Pork, which has it's own set of strange interface bugs, but the stability is wonderful.

I still dono what these bugs and instability problems are that everyone talks about :P

right now, it's taking up a little less than 5mb of ram, and is chillin like a villain online for the past couple days (although i gotta restart soon).
