he shoulda went after osama first! he did something to our country. then, after we caught  osama, then go after saddam, he didnt do anything to our country tho. we really need to mind our own buissness.they coulda made a plan them selves  and gotten rid of them. those poor soldires, they are always fighting. never get a break.
I actually agree with you garygirl. Thats why I think the reason is other than saftey. And any male over the age of 18 must register their name with the army. Doesnt mean they have to go, but people do get called up. And it may not be  voluntary for much longer. Bush is raising salaries and benifits for up and coming soliders and the ones already inlisted to get people to go fight for something no one knows anything about. Alot of people are thinking "draft" in a couple of years, but we'll see. I do disagree with you about bush "NEVER" getting reelected. His popularity is pretty high. Some people feel safe with bush because he was president when 9/11 happened. Others feel he's done enough harm. And alot of people who are for Kerry think bush will win. It will be a close race. I do believe we are a  paranoid country to an extent. As terrorism is a big threat (that should've been addressed years ago) its getting quite silly with Terror level colored bar codes that only seem to go up around holidays or 9/11 or when information gets through. No one could believe that there are people out there who dont think america is "the land of the free". I knew that before 9/11 happened. America is an aggroant country and only would arise to a problem like this when it is threatened. The queen of Jordan spoke not long after 9/11 and said something like "This has been going on in our part of the world for years and when America gets hit, he have to jump to their aid". No country wants to go into Iraq because of fear for their own saftey. Like garygirl said (cant believe I just said that), lets take care of one problem before juggling another. Bush wanted to go into Iraq before 9/11, back in 2000!!

As for the thread being biased? Politics usually are. Depending on where you stand on certain issues.

Isnt Anything, I like your political views. Obviously I'm not the only one here keeping up to date on world news. This guys seems to know what he's talking about.
Mr. Krabs: Do you smell it..that smell...a kind of smelly smell...a smelly smell that smells smelly. Anchovies.
Squidward: What?
Mr. Krabs: ANCHOVIES!
Anchovies: MEEP, MEEP, MEEP.

I probably won't be on here too much being in college and all. I will try to pop on every once in a while though to share my thoughts.

Thanks, at least someone agrees with me. Thats why kids shouldnt vote, most dont pay attention to the news. Again, I'm independent, there is falts with both candidates. Look at the evidence and weigh them out. I'd just vote for the lesser evil. Alot of the junk you hear is roumors. Kerry seems flakey and even he makes me nervious. Ralph Nader doesnt have anything. He ran last election as an indie, hes just eye candy, really. The sad thing is for people in florida, Jeb Bush is our governor. So its really screwed up.

Kerry still is winning!

Hope bush don;t win
There is no such thing as peace and there never will be. Peace is a delusion believed by the weak. Gandhi said : "An eye of an eye would leave the whole world blind". So be it because only a blind world can experience the peace that it deserves. But there in lay the sick irony. Who will be able to see this peace? The human species is at war. The enemy walks among us nearly invisible. Only those with true discernment can see them. But only one with discernment and vision can show them to others

On alot of things, we normally do not agree.
