This game is very fun. I used to have it on my computer for a long time and then... THE COMPUTER CRASHED!!!! We were unable to fix, but the main thing in my mind was: No more Chip's Challenge. Now, i know this might sound rweird, but for the past few years, i have been looking for this game. Just last year, I found it in a game pack on amazon.com, with a few other good games. I was so happy, and i imeditly started tring to earn money for it. Whe i got the moiney, amazon.com had stopped selling the pack, and iEBAY didn,t have it. Today, i had decided to look for it on google, and guess what. I FOUND IT!!!! I found a free download for it. I was so happy. I downloaded it, and installed it. Let me give you a few tips:
1.) When you install it from the site i did (there is gonna be alink down her in this post) ypu will need to have WINZIP or the trial. You will need to unzip the file. I said to unzip and install. It worked. Then  had to click something else, so i could acces the game. all the stuff in there needed to be in the same folder, so i made it like that. Now it works.

So, anyone the websites look isn't the worlds best (It is some text, with a plain white backround, and the download button), but so far the game works perfectly.

Well,m this game is challenging, but fun. A while ago, the guy who sold it to a company, made a sequal, but the company would not let him sell it because, they said they owned all the games rights, and he did not have the money to buty out the rights. This game is very fun, and has not given me trouble since i downloaded it 30 miutes ago.

You have to do it a certain way. it was for me too. Heres how:
Unzip it.
When it is done, check the box that says: Show all icons.(Or something like that) Check the other box.
Click Finish.
Make a desktop folder.
Place everything in the window that has all icons, into the folder. Do not use sub-folders for this (Sub-Folder: A folder inside a folder)
Now, whenever you want to play, click on the folder and click on: CHIPS to play.

I only know of that working on Windows XP, i don't know about the others. I hope this helps.

Cool, so im guessing it works. There are cheatcodes for it if you want to use them (IT spoils the game though). Check out www.cheatcc.com for them. Yeah it is very fun. I used one cheat to get to the after-game level (SPCIAL LEVEL) it is very fun.

Heh, I remember playing this game in the Microsoft Game Pack for Windows 95.  It's actually pretty fun.

The setup was simple, unzip it and run chips.exe

I used to play this all the time when i was a kid. It's a good game. It's really hard though. I have an old computer with windows 3.1 and it has this game.

Well, you tell me. On level (OR whatever the ::Dolphin Noise:: you call it) 2, what do you do to get past the water. I get my options, I just can't find the keystrokes. :ph34r:

Push the left brown block up and to the left until it is in the water...and go onto the block...do the same thing with the other...

Here is the cheat to the SPECIAL LEVEL:

Enter that cheat in the Skip Level (Or something like that) The levcel # is 149.

The FINAL level (Not the SPECIAL) Is very hard. I accesesd it with a cheat, and it is nearly impssible.
I think the keyboard controlls are the way to go.

Yeah, I had to edit it, cause i forgot to put the link. Yes, it comes with older computers and is very RARE on newere ones, but my freind has it on windows 98. It came with it. I decided not to download level editor.

i tried clicking on that link u put and downloaded it but when i tried to open it, it didnt.. :sad: wut's the deal about the "zipper thingy" anyway? how do i unzip it? help!
