err another storm. 2 weeks after Hurrican Charley we get Tropical Storm Gaston. while Charley passed us pretty well. Gaston hit us directly. Our culdesac was flooded and we lost power until 8:00 tonight. it was so fun though. the storm drain overflowed and there was water up to my knee. all of us kids were skimboarding and doing stupid stunts. it hurts to boogy board on the road. haha. we dont have any school tomorrow either :ohmy: this was my first weekend alone at home and it rocked! anyone else get affected at all? we lost a few plants and theres crap everywhere but everyones houses are fine cept for these people whose tree landed on their roof. woah that was a long post.

I wish it rained like that over here... sounds fun, and I love the rain. :biggrin:

We're supposed to get a big earthquake within the next week.

I live right above ya...all we got were light showers on and off ALL DAY LONG!   :rolleyes:   Bummer....not even a good lightening storm.  But no, it was pretty uneventful.   :biggrin:

it always rains where i live but today it was really fun. francis is supposed to come soon. maybe when it does me and my friends can go mud wrestling or something...haha i love the rain.

If you love the rain, you should have gone to Virginia. They got hit with 10-14 inches of rain.

we are having hurricane francis and get thursday and friday off! yahoo! 5 day weekend. but i cant have my b-day party this weekend:( its labor day, and i was having my party this weekend. life sux:(

It's Hurricane Frances. The same name as Kurt's daughter. That's the only way I can remember it.
