AT certain points in the series they're both good guys and bad guys.
There's no REAL bad guys or good guys! :D

but he's still out to save earth, that makes him a good guy...but he's doing it all wrong...making him look bad.
ZIM isn't really a good-guy to the irkens...but he's not they're enemy either. He's just misunderstood.
