It opens fine and it connects to the server but it never enters into #spongebob, I've even tried doing /j #spongebob and I get nothing. I've tried to get in on many many occasions, same thing just keeps happening. Could this be because my IP is banned? Is it closed? Am I just an idiot that doesn't know how to use the java chat? Don't you think it sucks that I have to go through this to talk in there? Any help is good help.  :dry:

Try getting mIRC at mirc.com

When you open it, use the server "irc.choopa.net" and join the channel "#spongebob"

How about trying "/join #spongebob". If it doesn't work for you then, just get mIRC.

I have mIRC, Miles banned me from the channle and really hates me(and I still don't know why)..but he banned my IP, doesnt the java chat use different info or w/e?..cause I've seeen people banned from channles before and they just use java to be able to get in again.
Now..why am I asking? cause I like the chat and I use to idle in there for days..and I was always nice and chatted with people from here that would go and chat, if you ever went when I was there, you'd probably know that...oh well though, I guess I'll stick to posting on the forum here. :closedeyes:

Better question...why am I not trusted? I've been accused of getting people packeted or w/e happend..but I had no part in it and I explained this all many times. When Miles banned me for good, he said it was cause of some other channle I was in..in which he totally got the topic of that channle wrong and didn't even let me explain. That to my knowledge is the reason I am banned..if theres another one, I don't know it cause he wouldn't tell me and put me on ignore. I don't want any problems, never did. I'm a fan of the show and I enjoyed the chat..its a nice place to just sit and talk, I never caused any trouble..Last month I moved and my IP changed and I was in the channle for 3..4 days, had no problem..til Miles found out and swore at me and banned me and told me to get a life or something like. If he wants me banned, its fine..I have nothing against him for it, all I've ever asked for was the reason..cause I hate getting in trouble and not knowing what for lol.
