If you want, sounds like you're a bit upset. I tried to be polite about it, but it does get annoying to answer meaningless questions... Chill out...you dont have to post here if you dont want to. Its a choice...

Spiff: I'm unsure, but i've seen a painting of fish turning into birds. I've always wondered why the sky isnt green, but blue....*ponders*

Why do people use "Internet lingo" when it is relatively easy to use proper grammar and spelling? Do I have the right to be ::Dolphin Noise::ed off at this fact?

Yes Miss Rose you do. I myself ponder this wonder of the internet. I try my best to use proper grammar and spelling.... Some people think it might be more difficult to use proper grammar, but some come from chat rooms into the message board. Dont worry keep your spirits up and use those periods and commas. Someone should make a thread on the use of gramma....light bulb moment...

Do you like poetry? If so, what kind do you prefer and who is your favorite poet?

To be honest with you I dont read too much poetry. I'm not too sure where to look or start. I've read a few short stories by Edgar Allen Poe and they were cool. My mom had a biography on him so I read it and it sparked an interest.

I recently read an awsome book. 'a clockwork orange' by Anthony Burgess. You might like it, pick it up if you can. What kind of poetry do you like to read? I'm curious....

I read Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare, and Tennyson the most. There are others, but the three I just mentioned are my favorite, especially Tennyson. I have a nice book of his that contains many of his best poems, but it's one of those college prep type books so I am looking for a better one. Everything else I just find here and there, if that makes any sense. I write my own too, but it's not as good as anything you've ever seen in a book.

Clockwork Orange eh? I've heard very good things about that. I'll have to get it sooner or later.

Actually, "u", "ur", "y", "r", "2", and "4" are much much much faster than typing out "you", "your", "you're", "why", "are", "our", "two", "to", "too", "four", or "for".

Wow, there's been a lot of sailor talk around here lately.

Here's a question:
Why does JCPenny's have a Saturday One Day Only Sale every week?

Mabye because their sales are not doing so well. Usually businesses have sales to bring people in. JC Penny is expensive. Bealls outlet is cheaper....Or, they could be trying to compete with other department stores like Sears, Belks or Bealls. The sales might bring in more business. The commericals for the 'one day only sale' are annoying.

Elizabeth Rose: He's a difficult read and I've never attempted to read any of his books. He's famous for "Ullyses" which is thick and hard to catch onto. You have to pay close attention to the story I suppose. I'm not too much of a reader, but he seems like someone you'd like.

SS4Gohan: It may be easier, but hard to read and just plain lazy. 'Have u ever read that book be4? No, but ur discription is a good 1'. It looks like a 10 year old wrote it who isnt very good at spelling and grammar. Thats only for chat rooms...

Exactly, chatspeak is my worst enemy. The question was why do people use it instead of correct grammar. And the answer is, it's easier to TYPE. I never said anything about reading or understanding.

No people did it before me. I believe it came from another message board? I just thought it'd be cool to have my own 'ask me' thread.

Depends on what you know. Since you like Green Day 'time of your life' is easy. G, C, A, and D. They use different chord shapes, but you can use the ones you've  originally learned. If you know Barre Chords 'brain stew' is simple. the 'chugga chugga' is done by letting off pressure on the strings, but not taking your hand completely off. Keep the barre shape, but take off enough pressure to where you're just lightly touching the strings. Thats how billie joe plays it. Most green day songs are easy. I'd start with any of their songs...plus, you know most of them. If you have any other guitar related questions just ask.

SBAndy: Games are addictive and tend to give people like a 'rush' and the idea of winning is enough to keep a person at it for hours. Notice the rules on the website about 'its just a game'. It has the same kind of addiction as gambling..

Same thing. Some people can walk away, but others keep at it. Its the idea of winning and winning more. It keeps the person going. To me, it doesnt matter if its online or at a casino.
