Here's why they suck:

1. They even block video clips on how people do MATH PROBLEMS!!!
2. They're gay.
3. They're way slower than my computer.

They're all Black Dells that's pretty much the only thing good about them.

My school blocks anonymous IP proxy's. But I have found a way to trick the computer into changing the background.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

Id like to point out something.
I am a senior, and happen to have been placed in charge of network operations at my school.
-School computers do not arrive "stupid, retarded, and slow". In fact, they arrive in a quite desireable state. It pains me to put perfectly working computers in a classroom, to come back two weeks later to find the machines in disarray. People steal parts from the computers, then come back and complain about their inability to use the computer because it is lacking a mouse.
-Regarding the internet filtering: I am sorry, but censorship drives this country. In the state of Connecticut, a public school with an internet connection, and inadequate filtering is at risk of loosing their technology funding. That means NO NEW COMPUTERS. Also, Internet filtering is a completely insane concept. Do you expect someone to correctly classify every one of the billions of web pages on the internet? I certainly dont.
-Be happy your school has computers that work at all. Its a heavy task to maintain more than 100 computers, especially when you have a population of students who seek to destroy them.

The bottom line is, quit complaining, and dont be idiots.

I agree, the computers at my school are good computers though not as fast as mine but I think their 2.4GHz Dells and 256MB or 512MB RAM and I was able to access this site at school before with a couple of other sites without it being blocked. None of the people at my school are smart enough to steal parts from it except USB and PS/2 ones.

I remember in my Freshman year, I was able to bypass the filters by using an outdated version of Internet Explorer which didnt support proxies.
