Yesterday, I was fixing a friends IntelP3 500MHz Gateway box with 128MB of RAM and a 16MB video card and I got it to run without a monitor.

Yeah I couldn't see anything but it turned on without the monitor on and I pluged in the monitor while it was running and it worked.

Wrong. Ever heard of servers?

You people hurt my brain when you talk like that with all your "Dual 2.5GHz PowerPC G5" and "8GB DDR400 SDRAM (PC3200) - 8x1GB" crap. How am I supposed to know what that meens with my tiny little brain? Can't you just say stuff like "one with alot of memory and space with good internet connection" or something?

Ok:
Fast processor
Fast big hard drive
Fast and lots of memory
Fast internet
Fast monitor
Fast sound
Fast floppy drive
Fast DVD writer
Fast case
Fast cooling
Fast mouse
Fast keyboard

Relax peeps. If thats all he wants, let him be.

My dream comp (not all that good compared to some other ones up there) is in the link in my sig. My dream comp doesn't even hafta be good, cause all that I dream about is getting something better than this crap (450mhz - Pentium 3 - Dell - 96mb ram)

Apple Powerbook laptop 17"

Equiped with:

Pro tools
Reason 2.5
Laser Mouse (Please!!!)
M Audio Soundcard
A pair of decent monitors
External Mackie Mixing board

For the rig to go with it:
Marshal Stack
Fender Stratocaster or jaguar

I revamped mine one more time. The parts are here:
http://m.1asphost.com/VulturEMaN/TEXT/Computer.txt

I decided to ditch the extra HDD (cause I already have one) and make it a 3500+ with better ram and a 19in screen. I coulda tried to do the 2 vid cards, but woulda been stuck with a slower processor....I can buy the 2nd vid card at college.

EDIT: Just upgraded the screen from the HKC one to a Samsung 19in. Looks fairly nice. Price around 1570$

Yes, we are. An Apple is a computer designed for personal use. Therefore, it is a personal computer.
