You can't use them unless your computer has a tv card.

i had a tv card in my old pc, but that broke (the whole pc, some melon threw drink all over it) i bought a new one, this one doesnt have one at the minute, but im gonna get one again i think, i was always using it before, it was so handy.

in fact, im going to buy one now,

by the way, nice little video there Chris, your pc seems quite cool, what spec is it? I cant really tell that much from the video, did you build it yourself? i did with my old pc, but not with this one now. Also what does the front look like, i love designs of computer cases, they can be so cool to look at, especially if they have like blue cathodes on a black case for example...im rambling....shut up simon.

I might find a cheap video card and hook my DVD and VCR players up to it so I can put my videos on my comp. But I haven't done anything like that before.

Since I don't have a TV Card, I use this thing called a Dazzle.  It hooks into a USB port and you hook your camera, or VCR, or even a video game system to it and use it to capture video.  It works well considering it was a heck of a lot cheaper than a TV Card.

I might get video capture hardware soon, if I did I would capture allot of shows.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.
