Topic: need laptop

I want a gaming laptop, but here's the twist, i want it for under $500. Is it possible? Where can i find one? heres some necessities.


great graphics card

leightweight and portable

under $500 or close to it.

You'd be lucky to find a laptop for 500$. You sure as heck won't find a gaming one for under 500.

Try 1500$

You'd be better off going with a refurbished Dell OptiPlex desktop for 400$, then throwing a 100$ vid card into it, and have a free 3 year warranty

Like v-man said it's impossible if you find a laptop that its under 500$. The laptop I have(Dell XPS M1710)was 2300$. It's worth it. Your best bet is just get a laptop under 1000$

Back in the day, that was uber-high end. Wifi, tabletpc, etc.

It would still be cool to have just because of the screen size. That thing can nearly fit in my pocket.

If you mean like how there are lots of desktop parts readily available on the net, then no. I couldn't go out and buy a laptop motherboard (well I could, but the money would suck).
