Topic: Playstation 2 Or Game Cube?

I don't understand the fascination of PS2. It's NOT that great. My older brother owns one. Sure, you can mod it easily (:tongue:), but the GameCube is loads better.

Get an N64, its pwns those.

But they stopped making games for the old ones, don't they?
And i just need own Super Smash Bros Melee and the new Mario Party versions!! They look so cool!

i used 2 always play Super Nintendo, then Nintendo 64 and sumtimes i would play playstation in-between. But now we've got a gamecube so thats all i play. id go gamecube, but only coz i havent played playstsation2 before. :biggrin:  :biggrin:  :biggrin:

GameCube of course. Playstation 2's graphics are deplorable. The worst out of the three major systems. Also the loading times are enough to drive you crazy. I don't need a DVD player in my system. Screw that. If I wanted a DVD player i'd go out and buy a DVD player. Gamecube doesn't play DVDs... so what? At least it has high quality first party games. I will admit that their third party support blows but at least it has strong first party support.

The graphics aren't bad. They're almost as good as gamcube. The loading times aren't bad either(for most games) Where are you getting this stuff?

From personal experience. My friend has one. I would never get a PS2. It's such a peice of garbage. So what if it plays DVDs? If I want to play DVDs I will buy a DVD player. Garbage. Simply garbage.

Ok i disagree. I know it's not garbage. I've had one for about 3 years it's always worked well for me. Most of my games load instantly anyways.
