Progress and reform. Progress and reform. Progress and reform!!!
Communism is where the government owns all of the land (and property in general) as well as all of the labor (you get paid by the government), and the people own the government.
Meaning, in liberalism, it is favorable to speak out against the government and suggest new ideas. That is what progress and reform are about. In communism, the people are the government, so they would be speaking against themselves.
Liberalism is not about government controlling lives, it is about new ideas and progress. You have your definitions mixed up.
If we can't look to the government to solve problems, then who can we look to? (if you say the church, i will proceed to show you why that is false)
