Well the Catholic Church was around first. Cmonkey tried to claim that Islam has more members than the Catholic Church. He is Wrong. Catholicism has 1.1 billion and muslimism has 1.3 bill. But there are many different sects, Sunis, Shi'ytes, and Wahablians(who feel all other people are infidels, even other muslims. Bin Laden belongs to this group.) and so on. And each different sect is a differnt Religion. So there are mostly Catholics because it is only one religion.
