I think it should be legal (it JUST became legal here in Oklahoma) because...who cares? If people want to waste their money on that, go ahead. They should have that freedom if it's something they like to do and think they actually have a chance at winning. I, however, am smarter than that and already know that I never win anything, so there's really no point in me gambling. Plus, some forms of gambling, like the lottery, can be used for good causes, like using some of the funds in schools.

I gamble on occasion, however I try not to get to into it. my grandmother is $18,000 in debt from gambling.

In some instances it could be legal, but as for lotteries and such? No. Too many people allow their children to starve, or don't pay the bills because they trying to "get rich quick".

Alright, I think casinos and just house gambling is alright. Heck, I gamble all the time. I bet with my mom about the outcomes of games. I just think when it comes to the big million dollar lotteries, they should be illegal. I am also alright with the lottery tickets, like the 10 dollar tickets. If your going to gamble, do it smart.

Yes, gambling should be allowed. The lottery should stay, too, but it should be set up like it is here where the money that goes into it gets funded back into the community. Money that goes to the Kentucky Lotto is funded into KEES money, where Kentucky high school students can get 1000+ bucks a year based on their GPA and test scores.

That's a cool system. I think it should be legal. Every now and then it's fun to test your luck. But once people get sutpid enough to waste all their money, it's gotten too far. Basically, just keep your head on, and gambling is fine.

Gambling ain't no sin in my Church.  My mother enjoys going to Atlantic City.  I'll probably gamble one day too.  It's a fun sport.  And I'm a good card player.

dude!! what a way for the native people of your country to live

anyways, gambling is cool, as long as done in moderation, pretty much the same as everything else.  and its a good way to raise money in alot of cases. its just a shame that people cant say no. but it is their own choice, making gambling illigal would just be one more way that authorities would try to control the general public.
