I find these kind of topics to be fairly stupid and basically encouraging more stupidity around the rest of the forum, but since you guys seem to enjoy them so much... there's nothing I can do without you guys calling for my head.

There was never any rule against useless posting in The Waste Land.

Topics that were spam in here never got deleted.

I don't know why they suddenly stopped being made, but now they have returned. Who really cares?

If even the most random member that I've never heard of made a "spam thread" in The Waste Land, I wouldn't care, because it's The Waste Land. The end.

THESE ARE THE ONLY RULES OF THE WASTE LAND.
1. Don't Advertise - You can have ads in your sig though.
2. Don't Flame or Swear - Same as the rest of the Sponge Zone.

Therefore, people can useless post ALL THEY WANT.

I never ONCE said I opposed to spam threads. I think they're a good outlet.

People started acting like morons and making spam thread after spam thread after they were told not to. I was making a simple request. I was all up for spam threads, but the mods didn't want any more, so I politely asked if perhaps maybe we could stop with them before everybody got in trouble.

Look at the date much? That was all the way in April when the mods asked us not to make them anymore, back when it was a rule.

Now, since they're letting us do them, I'm all for it.
