There is a big difference between being 'obsessive' and 'obsessive compulsive'

Being obsessive means you just obsess over something harmless, like a celebrity, or a song, or something. Obsessive-compulsive disorder is much more complex. To put it in the simple terms of the dictionary: Having a tendency to dwell on unwanted thoughts or perform certain repetitious rituals, especially as a defense against anxiety from unconscious conflicts.

So repeating yourself to an EXTREME point, or focusing on something bad and not being able to stop focusing. It can lead to suicidal thoughts.

Well, I tend to delve into self-denial and get out of touch with reality if I get too depressed... my medicine is the only thing that keeps me form going completely crazy... and I haven't had it in several days so at the moment I am a basket case.

If something sharp (like scissors, for example) is facing me on my desk or something, I have to have it pointing the opposite direction. Even if no one else is in the room.

I do that too.

I just remembered that you do that. Before, I thought I was the only one. That is insane in the membrane.
