lol...arnold had nuthin to do with tookie'z sentence...the only reason he'z even in the story iz cuz he denied tookie clemency.

I know he did a lot of terrible things, but he was trying to help people stay away from gangs. He experienced what it can do to a person and didn't want it to happen to others. They should have let him live, but just kept him in jail.

Ditto. But there is still the point of debating over capital punishment (or executing...whatever you want to call it) If I close this and start a new topic on the subject...it would be pointless...so we'll continue to discuss the issue here.

Yeah, I think it needs abolished because it is legal murder and think of the innocents who have been executed under capital punishment... I believe in the use of torture... like getting punished for you exact crime, like if you beat up your wife you have to get beat up by a bunch of angry women, or if you steal chop your hand off. And murder? Simple enough. Solitary confinement for the rest of your life.
