1. Anyone who breaks ANYTHING with there wiimote is a dumbass and shouldn't even be allowed ANYWHERE near a bottle of orange juice let alone a Wii. It ain't that hard to keep grip, just don't rely on the strap: problem solved. If your not an idiot, the controller won't go flying into your tube.
2. Nintendo has been in gaming for - what? - 20 Years? And around in entertainment for like - 25, maybe 30 years? They aren't stupid enough to use patent technology. If I am not mistaken the N64 (as mentioned in the article) DID feature a strikingly similar trigger button to that of Wii and looking at dates - Nintendo had patent earlier. So either Interlink is infringing on Nintendo (which I doubt) or the triggers are very similar in design (but not the same)
