Super Smash Bros. Melee Season
« on: November 17, 2003, 01:01:28 pm »
Hi, this is Super Ry, your anchor for Super Smash Bros. Melee Season. This five day season is to find out which melee contestants will make it to the tornament. Since there're only 25 people and the closest is 24, the one person with the worst stats will not make it. Example: 0-4. Ok, the matches have been drawn at random, and here's Day One's lineup.

Young Link VS Falco     Mario VS Link     Mewtwo VS Marth     Captain Falcon VS Ganondorf     Roy VS Luigi     Mr. Game & Watch VS Zelda/Sheik     Kirby VS Ice Climbers     Dr. Mario VS Pichu     Peach VS Yoshi     Ness VS Pikachu     Samus VS Bowser     Donkey Kong VS Fox

And you may have noticed that Jigglypuff isn't on today's schuleale. That because only 25 contestants are on the list, and only 12 matches can be fought per day. So Jigglypuff gets to stay at a hotel and relax, but once you skip a day, you can't take another one off. Right now, I'm going to my room to start the season up. The CPU will play the matches with each player's level at 9 (the highest) and all items in a two minute frensey. So until you find out the results of each combat, you can talk about how cool the game is. Results will be posted tomorrow. Until then, this is Super Ry, signing off.

Well there is NO point about this SSB:M Season, and letting us be the no-body and him telling us. So if we can't bote then we can probably predict. I'll do something similar to this next week.

Okay, I'm not sure if this is double posting or not, but here are the results of yesterdays matches.

Falco and Young Ling fought insanely, but in the end Y Link's sword ended up breaking.
Mario burnt Link with his fireballs, sending him to the hosptail.
Mewtwo and Marth fough with plenty of strengh, sending their match into sudden death. The clone would beat the swordsman.
Captain Falcon was too fast for Ganondorf to handle.
Everyone thought Roy's powerful moves would trigger victory, but Luigi managed to sneek triump.
Sheik (I think she was in Sheik form) sent Mr. Game & Watch back to the 80's.
Nana and Popo kicked some Kirby bootie.
Pichu became sick after he had one too many of Dr. Mario's megavitamins.
Yoshi thought beating a girl would be easy, but Peach KO'd him so hard, he became exstinked.
Pikachu filled Ness's head with static discharge.
Sudden death found Samus in peices after Bowser killed her.
Fox wouldn't be so lucky like his teammate, and DK sent him to the loser's circle.

Okay, today's lineup.

Pichu VS Falco     Yoshi VS Fox     Donkey Kong VS Bowser     Captain Falcon VS Kirby     Luigi VS Mewtwo     Samus VS Dr. Mario     Link VS Roy     Peach VS Zelda/Sheik     Mario VS Ice Climbers     Marth VS Young Link     Ness VS Pikachu     Jigglypuff VS Mr. Game & Watch

So Ganondorf gets the day off, let's hope he gets spoiled rotten. The battles will begin shortly after, so wait for results.

Patrick's right, but uh, anyway, here are the results.

Falco thought he was in for another easy win, but Pichu kicked some wing.
Fox got revenge and destroyed Yoshi.
In a clash of heavyweights Bowser beat up DK.
Captain Falcon beat Kirby easliy.
Once again, everyone thought Luigi as the downcast, but he was hot and knocked Mewtwo right out of the stadium.
Samus preseribed some pain for Dr. Mario.
In a sword clashing fight, Link defeated Roy.
A battle of the princesses, Zelda gave Peach The Royal Treatment.
While jigging to the old Ice Climber theme, Mario made Nana and Popo sweat.
Young Link killed Marth.
In their rematch, Ness PK Flash'ed Pikachu out of the arena.
Gamey killed Jigglypuff easily.

Day Three's schuleale.

Ice Climbers VS Jigglypuff     Yoshi VS Bowser     Dr. Mario VS Mario     Captain Falcon VS Mr. Game & Watch     Ganondorf VS Zelda/Sheik     Fox VS Samus     Link VS Roy     Pichu VS Peach     Pikachu VS Ness     Donkey Kong VS Young Link     Marth VS Kirby     Luigi VS Falco

And Mewtwo is off today. Stay tuned.

No one's posting, so I'm sorry for double posting, but the results are in, so here they are.

Jigglypuff kicked some Ice Climber @$$.
A Yoshi braw gave Bowser, king of the koopas a huge headache.
Versus nearly the same person, Mario punched his doctor self to the E.R.
Gamey somehow finished off Capt. Falcon.
Ganondorf once again kidnapped Zelda.
Fox's blaster hurt Samus badly.
A rematch of swordsmen, Link once again stoped Roy in his tracks.
Peach got rid of her Pichu problem easily.
Pikachu won over Ness, AGAIN.
Young Link had a tough time getting rid of DK, but managed to get the job done.
Marth broke his losing streek and sliced Kirby in half.
As everyone predicted, Luigi had another good fight, this time wooping Falco's tussh.

Today matches.

Samus VS Donkey Kong     Peach VS Fox     Yoshi VS Pikachu     Falco VS Roy     Kirby VS Bowser     Young Link VS Dr. Mario     Ganondorf VS Pichu     Mario VS Ness     Luigi VS Ice Climbers     Zelda/Sheik VS Captain Falcon     Mewtwo VS Mr. Game & Watch     Link VS Jigglypuff

So Marth gets to relaxs, now let the matches, BEGIN.

Sorry for not replying last night, here are the results of Thursday's matches.

Samus had plenty of misseles to shoot at DK, winning the match.
Peach ripped off Fox's fur.
Pikachu was glad not to fight Ness anymore, but got kicked by Yoshi instead.
Falco broke his losing streak, sending Roy to heck.
Bowser had an easy win over Kirby.
Young Link's bomb held Dr. Mario at bay.
Pichu was no match for the mighty Ganondorf.
Pikachu must have stayed in Ness's mind, cause he got whipped by Mario pretty bad.
Everone knew by now Luigi would win, this time getting rid of the Ice Climbers.
Sheik had Captain Falcon killed.
Mewtwo got banged around by Gamey.
Link had a good fight and prevailed over Jigglypuff.

Now, Ganondorf, Marth, Mewtwo and Jigglypuff are all behind one match, so while everone else had fun at the hotel, these four caught up yesterday. Jiggly battled Ganondorf, While the swordsman supreme (Marth) faced Mewtwo. The results? Here they are!

No one expect Ganondorf to lose, being so powerful, but guess what...he losed to Jiggly.
In their rematch, Marth overtook Mewtwo and won.

So I'll set the ladder and we'll see who faces who. So see ya then.
