The Stupid Law Game

I have a book on stupid laws that dont mean anything today

if you want to hear them all you have to do is say is which contry the stupid law is from, it can be a genaral place like USA and canada, but it can also be more spicific like the state texas and arizona,

you can do any place at all that has a law system, even here in europe and africa

heres one of texases state laws

the act of braking wind (farting) in a lift is unlawfull


thats just one from texas though

Here are others:

In Texas, it's against the law for anyone to have a pair of pliers in his or her possession.

In Galveston, Texas, it is illegal to have a camel run loose in the street!

Laws are strange. Do you have any for California?

In St. Louis you can't sit on a street curb drinking beer out of a bucket.


This law originated from Straussenfest, A german heritage thing were...Beer is sold by the bucket.

That is one of my all-time favorite stupid facts. I read that one about a year ago.

Let's see, also in Missouri, a man must have a permit to shave.  :huh:
In Cleveland, Ohio, it is unlawful to leave chewing gum in public places.
And in Singapore, it is illegal to chew gum.

there is none from the UK in general

so how about 1 from scotland, ireland and england, (it dosnt have any listed for wales)

scotland

it is against the law to be drunk in possession of a cow

ireland

any person who shall pretend or exercise to use any type of witchcraft, sorcery, enchangtment, or pretend knowledge in any accult or craft or science shall for any such offence suffer imprisonment at the time of one whole year and also shall be abliged to obscursion for his/her good behaviour

england

any boy under the age of 10 is not allowed to see a naked shop dummy

gee i wish i had stupid laws in my town. maybe i do and i dont know about it. knowing my town it will be really stupid like "No going on the SpongeZone forums after dark." :blink: that would be an oddly specific law and if that is a real law i am in trouble. :rolleyes:
