The A's have traded yet 2 more star players from their team. One to Cardinals and one to somewhere else. My memory is a bit fuzzy right now. A's have had trouble ever since their trade with Giambi

Hudson was traded to Atlanta and Mulder was traded to St Louis, they had to because they couldnt afford them all again. They've been good since the Giambi trade, I dont know where you got that idea from, but they'll definitely slide downhill without their big 3 together. Just another example of the rich teams getting the all stars and the poor(er) teams trading them away...

I still think they did a bad job on trading. Even sportscenter agrees. You trade 2 perfectly good guys to a better team for what? 3 unknown players who barely anyone has heard before

They traded them for "prospects"; in other words they can no longer afford to pay these 3 guys the money i'm sure they're asking for so they were forced into making a bad trade, it's something poor teams have to do all of the time

A's traded Tejada, Giambi, and some other really good people too. They need to stick with the money issue and stop over-paying players. They're gonna go bankrupt soon if they keep doing that. They just need to sit back for awhile and see what really happens without any real good players

If they don't overpay players, then they wont play for them in the first place

They could be in first place if they played without their good players. They just need to practice

Yeah it's always possible, but it'll be really tough for them in the American League, probably too tough

Renteria decided to leave the Cardinals and sign with the Red Sox, also.

Yeah, I figured he wouldnt stay in St Louis. Figures the Red Sox would get him though... You can't complain with the Cardinals getting Mulder for basically nothing, though lol
