Maybe, if they even bother to vote, but there are Christians, and then there are fundamentalists.
For instance, I am a Christian, but I am not a fundamentalist. Fundamentalists have a long list of "sinful" things. Such as: women wearing pants, women having short hair, makeup, TV, any music that is not directly Christian, fairy tales, any version of the Bible beside King James version, boys and girls swimming in the same pool, etc... Most of the time they make up their rules as they go. Suddenly, something that you would have never given a second thought too, is suddenly a sin. It also varies from church to church. I knew a church once that believed denim, open toe sandals, and bathing suits were "sinful".
Now, Bush doesn't push any of that, nor does anyone we have in power. When fundamentalists vote, they vote Republican, but for most of them Bush isn't good enough either. It's ridiculous.
