I got 'time of your life' when it came out on 'nimrod'. It isnt the best song on that cd by far! Glad you like them, though...

As for SSS, quite frankly.....shut up.

Billie Joe Amstrong = Brilliant and handsome. Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) is perhaps my favorite Green Day song.

There is nothing wrong with fun obsession! My brothers say that its stupid of me to have my Green Day poster and my billboard of White Stripes pics because it means I am "obsessed". Who cares? It's fun. :biggrin:

Hitchin' A Ride's probably my pick :) Haushinka and Platypus (I Hate You) are up there as well...

Oh, and I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but did you all know that Billie Joe says "F***" at the very beginning of Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)? You have to have the volume up pretty loud but he does say it. It's just funny when they play it at all of these graduations and stuff without noticing it

^ Yeah, I know. I remember when I first noticed, I was shocked. Not because he said f***, cause he says that a lot of the time, but because it's one of my favorite songs and I'd never noticed before then, and because it's so popular. In the end I was laughing though.

I don't have Nimrod yet, but I know that Hitchin' a Ride = blech. Sorry, I had to say it. :P

Edit again: For that matter, JW, a Green Day obsession is 228385643705043907 x better than a Good Charlotte one. :P

i have had a crush on billie joe since around 5th grade when i first got into green day. i like the song good riddance a lot but i still like their faster stuff
