...what would you do it? Or probably more accurately, what would you spend it on?

For me... right now, I'd probably save it until my birthday (7 days away, in case you weren't aware... so that means you've got only a few days to get my presents in the mail), and then blow it all on my 18th. I'd definitely buy a few CDs (hmmm... probably a few by Dylan, the Ramones first, and something by David Bowie), I'd get the new Space Ghost DVD that came out recently, and perhaps some $20 dollar game...

But if some random person walked up to me and handed me cash, I think I'd like to do the same to some other person as well... continue the giving, I guess. Of course being the self-centered guy I am, I'd only give about $20-$30 away, but oh well...

Anyway, I know this topic's been done before, but I thought it would be interesting to bring up. So post away...

Well, I'd say: "This is your money, you keep it". i'd try to get the person to take the money back. I'd feel bad if I didnt do anything for them. If that didnt work, yes, I would spend it...but I'd try to do something for that person or possibly buy something for that person. 100 bucks is quite a bit just give away for no good reason.

If I was given $100 I wouldn't be foolish and spend it all at once, I would spend some and save even more. If my birthday was in 7 days I would ask for all of that stuff for my birthday instead of me having to waste my own money on my birthday

Well, what I kind of meant was that it was some person you didn't even know that gave you the money, wouldn't take no for an answer, and walked away before you could even get his name... and yes, 100 bucks is quite a lot for someone to give away, but it's a hypothetical question... and besides, if I were an eccentric billionaire, it's something that I would like to do, so it's not ENTIRELY out of the realm of possibility for it to happen... OK, well maybe it is, but still...

I'd tithe. From there I'd split the amounts in half. I'd save half of the half, and then spend the other.

I'd put it in my savings accoutn to save up for car insurance on my new car.

all it says to me is goodbye lol
well i'd try really really really etc hard to save as much as i could before going on a shopping spree and buying all teh screen tees and tight jeans in as many cool stores as i could find that would be my splurge

I'd probaly order off the internet some stuff that you can't get in NZ and I don't want heaps but I'd really like it. i.e - puter programmes - dvd's cell phones - anything that I could find but in all reality, alot of people are saying thet'd go on a shopping spree for clothes when you can't really get that many cool clothes for $100

of course my parents buy me clothes but it's always an argument on what to get see i'll find somthing i like and my aunt doesn't like it so she says no i'm not buying that it's my money so ur not getting that but most of the time she's open minded and agrees with me on somethings but what i was saying is that if i had the 100$ i would be able to tell my aunt i want this i'm getting it its my money HA
