It means Pocket Monsters.
The show ruined it. So did Yellow Version, Gold, Silver and al the other ones.
Blue & Red are the best. Most of the people stopped playing them because it wasn't the big "fad", or the graphics were outdated. But still, Blue and Red are pretty good games.

I have Pokemon Ruby. It's basically the same, except for some role reversals. As a matter of fact I just restarted it today on my Game Boy player. I liked Blue the best though.

Ruby and Sapphire's new pokemon sucked and it was loaded with pointless crap, most likely in an attempt to give the game more depth. Gold and Silver were okay, but the Kanto portion seemed rushed. It took me half as long to beat the Kanto portion as it did to beat the Johto portion. I never played Crystal, but I expect it was similar to Gold and Silver with a few more features, like Yellow Version. Yellow version was fun, but Blue and Red are the best. One of the main things I liked about Blue+Red is that there was only 150 pokemon, so filling the Pokedex was easier and less tedious.

Yeah, Yellow Version is HARD. Blue was the best version I ever played. It was basically ruined by the TV show. BTW, What do you all think of the cards? I found my binder last Wednesday, and I saw all these expensive cards that I didn't know I had... :lol:

I couldn't figure out how to play the little game. It was weird that 5 and 6 year olds were able to play it effortlessly, but I was a moron. So I just collected them. I had a good $500 worth of cards.

it was cool when they only had 150 but then they added 200 more and it got bad. The games really don't have any replay value to it so thats why it gets boring.

on saphire, it wont let u trade pokemon with a cable link, so how are u supposed to  get all the pokemon, like torchic,leaf thing, and what about the pokemoon that u have to trade for them to evolve? i beat crystal and restarted saphire like 5 times, they get really boring now.but i have 110 pokemon outta 160 i've seen

You get the ones from pre-sapphire/ruby from Pokemon Stadium.
