Do You See Yourself Ever Giving Up Video Games?

Pretty simple question, yet hard for me to answer.  I mean, it's hard to predict the future anyway, but who knows what will happen.  There would be many variables that would determine if I ever quit playing games... how time consuming my job would be, what if I start a family, what if I find a life, etc.

But ultimately, if Nintendo continues to create great titles, and a decent football game is released every year, I can't forsee a way I would give up gaming.  It's probably an addiction I won't be able to shake...

Probably not. I'll keep buying systems until I get married. When I have a kid I'll teach him/her to love video games and guitars as much as I do.

Somewhere along the road. It's really just a hobby. I'm a hardcore gamer, but only with certain series. In fact, the only series that I'm a huge, huge fan of is the Metal Gear series. But it's not like movies. I'll never get away from movies.

Anyway, I don't really play video games as it is. We don't own a game playing system, so if I or my brothers play a game, it's over at somebody else's house. I could give that up.

The guy who wrote that article was saying that you need to beat your kids in order to earn their respect, and thus, have them be afraid of you. That picture says that if you come home, and your child is not afraid of you, then you fail.

No, I honestly do not think I will ever give up on video games. I might get away from them a bit, but giving it up entirely is a definite no. When I was little, my parents claimed they didn't even know me because I was locked away in my cellar....err, room ^_^ playing Super Mario World and Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past (ah...brings back memories). Then when my brother bought Final fantasy VII, I was addicted. I wasn't obsessed or "hooked", I was addicted. Hence my old quote, "Final Fantasy isn't a game! It's an addiction," Long since have I been a "hardcore gamer," as I will continue to be the rest of my teenage/middle-age years. This question does bring up some other ones, though. Will I stop when I have children? Will video games end :P? Although I may stray away from Single Player Campaigns (I never thought I'd say that...I LOVE single player games even more so than online modes sometimes), but I'll mos' def stay on my Online Gaming capabilities.

There's your long long long (not too long) answer.

Give it up, no. Play it less, yes. When I get older, start having a family, go off to collge(WHAIT?!?!?!WHAT?!?!?! I Nedd GOOD Grades for Collge?!?!!?I Better go study) then i will stop playing games as much as I do. When I have family, I will stop playing them as much more. Altough, as of now, I am finding games mlre and more boring.
